• 1. What membership options do you offer?

We offer two membership pathways: one for individual learners, and one for universities. If you are a hobbyist, freelancer or aspiring designer, choose the Individual Membership. If you are with a university or educational programme, choose the University Subscription (academic access). You can view full details on our Membership page.

  • 2. I’m a student - how can I access the platform?

You’ll only be able to access the platform if your university or department has subscribed to our University Subscription. Please contact your institution’s knitwear/textile department and ask them to reach out to us.

  • 3. I’ve created an account but I cannot access courses.

Access is only granted once you’re enrolled by your university via the University Subscription — or once you have joined via the Individual Membership link. If you believe you should have access and don’t, please contact us with your username and we will check for you. In order to gain access, contact your university and ask them to get in touch with us or sign up for monthly subscriptions.

  • 4. As a student, do I have access to all content?

Yes - if your university has enrolled you under the University Subscription, you will have full access to all included content as defined in your institution’s licence. If you do not receive this email, please get in touch with us.

  • 5. I’m not a student. Can I still join?

Yes — we welcome individual members. You can join via the Individual Membership link (please email us to request access). Please note: this plan is for personal, non-academic use only. Classroom or programme use is not permitted under this membership.

  • 6. What are the time limits or commitments for memberships?

For the Individual Membership, there is a minimum commitment of 3 months, after which your membership continues on a monthly rolling basis unless cancelled in accordance with the Terms & Conditions. For the University Subscription, access is based on the annual licence term agreed between your institution and us.

  • 7. Can I request a new tutorial to be created?

Absolutely - we welcome feedback. Please note: while we consider suggestions from all members and partner institutions, custom-made tutorials for one department or person are not guaranteed.

  • 8. How long will I have access once enrolled?

Individual members have access for as long as they remain subscribed and in good standing. University students have access under the terms of their institution’s licence. Some institutions may allow access for up to a year after graduation - please check with your department.

  • 9. How do I sign up?

For Individuals: Email us and we will send you the subscription link. For Universities: Email us with your institution name and department; we’ll provide full details on how your programme can join.
