1. Membership Options

The Knit Academy offers two pathways:


1. Individual Membership (Monthly)

For personal, non-academic use only.


2. University Subscription (Annual)

For academic departments and higher-education institutions.
(Pricing available on request.)

The following Terms apply to the Individual Membership unless specified otherwise.

2. How to Subscribe

To join the Individual Membership:

  1. Contact us via email to request access.
  2. You will be asked to confirm your details (e.g., Instagram/LinkedIn) to ensure the membership is suitable for personal use.
  3. Once verified, you will receive a private subscription link to join.
  4. After subscribing, you will be able to log in and access all content included in your plan.

3. Minimum Commitment

All Individual Memberships require a minimum 3-month commitment.

  • You agree to remain subscribed for three full billing cycles.

  • Access may be revoked if the membership is cancelled early.

After the initial 3 months, your membership continues on a monthly rolling basis unless cancelled.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel at any time after the 3-month minimum term.

  • Cancellations must be made before your next billing date.

  • If you cancel after your billing date, you will remain active until the end of that billing cycle and no refunds will be issued.

Example:
If your billing date is the 5th and you cancel on the 6th, the cancellation will apply to the following month.

5. Membership Changes

  • Membership downgrades are not permitted during the 3-month minimum term.

  • After 3 months, you may cancel and re-join under a different plan by emailing us.

  • Upgrades (e.g., Individual → University) may be available depending on eligibility.

6. Personal Use Only

Individual memberships are strictly for personal, non-academic use.

They cannot be used for:

  • classroom teaching

  • student group access

  • university modules

  • institutional logins

  • academic programme support

Universities and colleges must use the University Subscription for academic access.

7. Account Access

  • Memberships are for one user only.

  • Sharing login details is not permitted.

  • If account sharing is detected, access may be suspended without refund.

8. Content & Platform Access

  • Content inside The Knit Academy is non-downloadable.

  • You receive streaming access only while subscribed.

  • Content may be updated, reorganised or expanded at any time.

9. Payments

  • All payments are processed via the private subscription link you receive.

  • Billing occurs monthly on the same date each cycle.

  • Failed payments may result in temporary suspension of access until resolved.


10. Refunds

Due to the digital nature of the content, no refunds are offered once a billing cycle has begun.


11. University Subscription

If you are enquiring on behalf of a university:

  • Pricing is available on request

  • Access includes unlimited students & staff

  • Technical modules are exclusive to academic subscriptions

  • Annual invoicing & bank transfer options are available
